To import photos from iPhoto into Lightroom Classic CC, first you have to help Lightroom Classic CC find the original photos, which are hidden in a package file. Then, you can copy or add the photos to a Lightroom Classic CC catalog just like you would import any other photos from a folder on your computer. Launch Adobe Photoshop, click 'File,' select 'Import' and click your scanner to scan the document into Adobe Photoshop. Tip You can find the drivers for your scanner on the disk that came with the.
For many month now the importation of photo is impossible in Organiser with photo downloader. Here the story: The Mac is one of my sister. Refurbished macbook pro.
One day it was no more possible to download the photos in Organiser through the photo downloader. The programme copy the photos on the hard disk, but not insert them in Organiser, to do that she must download the photos a second time from the folder. The first time that happen she was under Maverick and PSE12. I reisntall PSE 12 without success. I install PSE13 without success, we make the update to Yosemite, nothing change.
Have someone an idea what I can do? Thank in advance for your help. Hi Surendra, 1. Powerpoint templates for mac for free.
Yes that is correct. To insert the photos in organizer, the user must choose insert from a folder. No, PSE 12 was installed on Maverick and the problem appears with this configuration. After a reinstallation of PSE 12 the problem exists always. I make an update from PSE 12 to PSE 13, but with the same problem. Last saturday, I updated the mac from Maverick to Yosemite, but always with the same problem. You must know that PSE 12 on Maverick go very well on this mac, but I don't know what happens that from one day to another the problem appears, I am not the user on this mac.
I have 2 mac with PSE 13 and Yosemite, only one have this problem. I have also a mac with PSE 12 and Yosemite, without problem. To resume, the problem exists wit the following configuration: PSE 12 - Maverick PSE 13 - Maverick PSE 13 - Yosemite Thank you in advance for your help Laurent Sipos. Because the problem by my sister is not solved, I check sometimes if someone has the same problem. It seems that now 2 people have this problem in the world.
I have no solution at the moment for this, I will try to install again the mac, but not at the moment. My sister told me that she can work with this.
But for me it is strange that only 2 peoples have this problem. I hope that the people have a reel solution for this problem and can reproduce it. The difficulty is to send a report message, because no problem message appears, only something is not done. Thanks for your prompt reply.
I have tried quite a few things: 1. Deleted all the PSE and Photo Downloader preferences. I tried it with another camera that I have and a Card Reader.
Ran a repair on my Catalog, although there were no errors. I also tried it with another catalog. Uninstalled and then re-installed PSE 13.
It's as if Adobe's Photo Downloader has somehow become disconnected from PSE13 and can't write to the catalog. I am new to Macs and I have used PCs all my life, so I don't know the Mac environment that well. I have had 2 further thoughts: 1. Is it a permission issue? I renamed my drive Mac drive a little while ago.
Does Adobe's Photo Downloader have a reference somewhere to the old drive and therefore is unable to find the catalog? Hello, I try the same thing without result. It is possible to repair the permission with Onyx (an excellent free tool), something I do every month, but without result for this issue. Concerning the name of the drive, I don't believe that can be an issue, but if it is possible, someone from Adobe must confirm that.
For me the only question is why Adobe's Photo Downloader is unable to create the thumbnails in the Organiser without to create an error message. The copy of the files is done, that means the program has the permission to do this copy. Hi Laurent, I think you are right, why is there no error message? I found a log file for Organiser and this is the what is logged whilst trying to import: [20113] 939897 (+916907) APD: received import message [20117] 943830 (+3933) Begin TagSearch() inside PtFinder::addTagToLens() [20117] 943831 (+ 1) reloadNavigatorAndView() initializing for a new Search [20117] 943929 (+ 98) App is now ready for input.
[20117] 943929 (+ 0) End TagSearch() inside PtFinder::addTagToLens() It looks like Organiser is receiving an import message from APD, but it really doesn't tell us very much. It would be interesting to compare this log with that from another user who does not have this problem.
